ARCHIMEDE Pilot 42 GMT: Fliegerwatch with dual timezone
More than 90 years of experience in the watch industry underpins ARCHIMEDEs expertise. Starting with the design, through the production till the final control: Everything is made in Pforzheim / Germany. Here the prototypes are built, the ICKLER cases manufactured and finally the whole watch assembled and controlled.
For Pilots, frequent flyers, globetrotters and business travelers (and of course for those who just like watches) ARCHIMEDE presents now the all new Pilot 42 GMT. Whether you are a frequent traveler or just have regular communication with people in another time zone, knowing the time in more than one place can be very useful. GMT is short for Greenwich Mean Time. It is the average time that the sun crosses the Greenwich meridian — “average” because the exact time can vary by up to 16 minutes throughout the year.
This ARCHIMEDE instrument watch with the clear dial and reliable Swiss Eta automatic movement 2893-2 (version Elaboré) displays an optional second timezone with the red additional hand.
The proven ICKLER steel case has a diameter of 42 mm and offers a thickness of only 9,5 mm. Through the screw down case back you can see the reserved decorated Eta movement with the ARCHIMEDE logo on the rotor. Due to the catchy crown, it is easy to set both timezones.
Customers can choose between several strap variations. All ARCHIMEDE Pilot straps are made of fine calf leather in black, light brown and brown and have the typical white stitching and rivets. For the stainless-steel lovers, a 20 mm matt steel and Milanese mesh bracelet are available.
