Kristin’s heart beats for languages and well-written texts: how does this sentence sound in German, is this word even translatable, and is there a better pun for this in German? These are the questions to which she passionately dedicates her time.
Before working as a full-time translator, Kristin studied Czech and French literature, linguistics, and culture science in Dresden (Germany), Nice (France), and Prague (Czech Republic). She also picked up some Russian and Arabic during her studies. After getting her degree, she gained some work experience in publishing and PR but, in the end, decided to focus on languages only. Today, she is working as a translator, a German trainer, and an interpreter. She is also enrolled in further training to become a sworn translator for English and German. She is currently living in Stockholm.
