From women’s version to unisex version
DAY41 was originally a project just for women. But CODE41 soon realized that this mechanical piece also looks really good on men. The DAY41 collection in 37 and 40mm DAY41 is available in diameters of 37mm and 40mm, with 5 color variants for the 37mm, including one set with diamonds, and 3 variants for the 40mm. What’s more, a wide range of leather straps and steel bracelet is on offer to suit all tastes.
A design that rebels against the traditional rules
Mechanical watches are traditionally a men’s plaything. But the DAY41 project shows that women also love the raw, machined, mechanical side of skeletal watches. The case can be described as simple and yet elegant, with its lugs giving it a strong, distinctive, recognizable aesthetic. The dial does a great job of accentuating the mechanical heart of the DAY41.
Swiss mechanical movement
The Swiss mechanical STP movement powers the DAY41. For a standard movement, the refinement of its skeletonized plates and bridges is particularly uncommon. It features an above-average power reserve of 44 hours (usually 40 hours), has been tested in 5 positions (normally 2 to 3 positions), and boasts a level of precision worthy of the best movements (daily discrepancy of -0/+15 seconds).
DAY41 = Swiss Made?
What makes a watch “Swiss Made”? To be stamped as such, at least 60% of its value must come from Switzerland, its movement must be Swiss, and it must be assembled in Switzerland. The DAY41 watch comfortably meets these conditions, but it will not bear the words Swiss Made. CODE41 is, and always has been, opposed to this misleading label. CODE41 banks on total transparency and selects Swiss or foreign components for their distinctiveness and value for money, not just to meet the Swiss Made criteria.
