Hello, and welcome to Fratello Talks! Today, we are celebrating our 100th-episode milestone with a special Q&A. We asked you to send us your questions, and you delivered. We’ve gathered, sorted, and selected said questions over the past few weeks, and in today’s episode, Nacho, RJ, and Thomas come together to answer them. We cover topics ranging from the usual hypotheticals to journalistic practices, favorite watches below a certain price point, and even lessons learned throughout recording these past 100 podcasts. Be sure to tune in and stick around as your question might be one of the many that we answer on this celebratory episode. Before we get into it, though, we begin (as always) with a wrist check.

Omega Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11 50th Anniversary pocket shot

Wrist check

When RJ is in a celebratory mood, chances are his gold Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 will be on his wrist. And that’s exactly the case today. A golden Speedy to mark this golden milestone of 100 episodes is an appropriate choice.

VPC Type 37HW Forest Green on wrist

Thomas is still putting some mileage into the green-dial VPC Type 37HW. It’s a very exciting time for the brand as movements have now been delivered from COSC to the watchmakers in charge of assembly and final checks. This means that, for those who have ordered one, we are approaching the early delivery stages for the first batch of VPC watches. After two years of work, Thomas is equally proud and relieved to see his vision come to life and now make it out to people’s wrists all around the world.

Tudor Pelagos FXD wrist shot

There are no surprises from Nacho today as he’s opted to wear his trusty Tudor Pelagos FXD “USN.” Strap-wise, he’s chosen a dark gray single-pass from CNS Watch Bands. Though it’s a bit too close to call, the FXD has given his Seamaster 2254 a good run for its money as his most worn watch of 2024. It’s rather likely that, between now and the end of the year, it’ll end up edging out the Omega and taking the crown.
