Fratello Talks: Audemars Piguet In 2025
Today, on Fratello Talks, we’re discussing Audemars Piguet. The brand is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2025 and has kicked things off by introducing a selection of new models earlier this week. Lex was in Le Brassus to report on the novelties, and Nacho and RJ now join him for this week’s discussion. They begin by looking at said novelties and wrap things up by sharing their thoughts on the brand’s current direction and whether they’ve felt the influence of recently appointed CEO Ilaria Resta yet. But before jumping into it, let’s see what the guys are wearing on their wrists.

We start with RJ, who is wearing the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M in Bronze Gold. Teased on the wrist of Daniel Craig months ago, Omega officially introduced this burgundy-bezel dive watch just last week. If you want to read all about it, you can check our Jorg’s introduction article for now. Expect RJ’s hands-on review to come soon!
Lex is still feeling the angular, sporty charms of his Grand Seiko SBGX341. This trusty, antimagnetic quartz timepiece has become a real go-to for Lex since the day he first saw it. It continues to be a favorite, and now, after getting a tactical refresh from the Grand Seiko service center, it’s back and ready for action,
Inspired by Hollywood legend and Aerospace wearer Harrison Ford, Nacho has opted to wear his version of this multifunctional titanium Breitling watch. His is the F65362, though its gold rider tabs were replaced with steel ones at some point in its unknown past. It’s a quirk that, if anything, makes it feel even more like Nacho’s watch.
Fratello Talks: Audemars Piguet In 2025
Audemars Piguet is hitting a significant milestone this year, with 2025 marking the 150th anniversary of the Le Brassus brand’s founding. We got a taste of what AP has in store for us this year just earlier this week. You can read all about the newly released models in Lex’s article here. These include a new movement and dial redesign for the perpetual calendars, a new successor to the Royal Oak Offshore “Beast,” and several new faces in the Code 11.59 family. It’s also worth mentioning that the perpetual calendars will be available with a cursive logo but only during the anniversary year. We won’t give away any more, so you’ll have to tune in to hear how the guys feel about these latest releases.
As always, leave your thoughts on these latest APs in the comments section below. Tune in next week for a new episode of Fratello Talks!
