Hello, and welcome to Fratello Talks! If you’re listening to this latest episode on the day of its release, then Geneva Watch Days 2024 is just a week away. Today, Nacho, Lex, and Thomas gather around the mics to discuss the event and make some wishes and predictions about what they’d like to see from brands at the show. There’s also plenty to look forward to since more brands than ever will take part in this year’s edition of the event. Be sure to stay tuned here on Fratello for all the latest. For now, though, it’s just some wishes, predictions, and wild guesses. But before we jump into those, let’s slide into a wristcheck.

G-Shock

Wrist check

Don’t be fooled by Daan’s wrist above; this week, Lex is wearing a G-Shock GA-2100SKE-7AER. We recorded this episode right before Lex’s summer break, so he was already in the carefree mood that a G-Shock provides. But will this be the watch he takes on holiday? We wouldn’t be surprised!

Thomas is staying true to his brand and is wearing his VPC Type 37HW. Just as in the previous episode, the Dove Grey variant is on his wrist today. If you want to learn more about VPC, check out our many articles on the watches, including Thomas’s series on building the brand. You can also check out the brand’s website.

Finally, Nacho is wearing his trusty Omega SMP 300M (ref. 2254.50.00). This trusty neo-vintage diver is, more often than not, the watch that he finds himself reaching for these days. There’s something so perfect about its slim 41mm case, wave dial, sword hands, and gratuitous lume application. To Nacho, this remains the Seamaster to end all Seamasters.
