Fratello Talks: LVMH Watch Week 2025
Hello there, and welcome to Fratello Talks. Last week, LVMH Watch Week took place. This week, Nacho, RJ, and Lex are looking at all the watches released by Zenith, TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton, and Daniel Roth (to name a few). We review all the releases and share our thoughts on those we found worth highlighting. With Watches and Wonders just a couple of months away, you might not have expected the deluge of novelties, but it seems LVMH and its brands have more than one ace up their sleeve. It’s a strong start to the year for watches, setting the bar high for 2025. Before we get into the new watches, let’s see which ones the guys are wearing this week.
Wrist check
RJ is casually rocking his full-gold Omega Speedmaster Apollo 11 50th Anniversary this fine Wednesday morning. He’s probably among the few who have this rather special watch in their daily rotation. He wears it like it “ain’t no thang,” and that’s the way it should be. Watches like this are far too cool to spend their days looking at the inside of a safe.
Lex, who was initially wearing his Speedy “Replica” Broad Arrow, has commandeered our videographer’s watch to break up the landscape of today’s wrist check (which would have otherwise been a rather Omega-heavy one). The watch in question is a Casio F-91WB-7A, which Matthijs (the man behind the camera) received as a birthday gift just last week. This all-white take on the classic Casio is a refreshing, inexpensive watch that shows you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get a great-looking piece.
Finally, Nacho is wearing his trusty Omega Seamaster 300M (ref. 2254.50.00). He’s using this classic neo-vintage diver to test the Arroway Modular Bracelets AMB-001 mesh bracelet. This great alternative to OEM options will soon be featured in a full hands-on review, so stay tuned for that. It’s an excellent match for the Seamaster and gives it a similar feel to that of one of the recently introduced SMP 300M models first spotted on the wrist of Daniel Craig at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Fratello Talks: LVMH Watch Week 2025
Unless you’ve been living under a rock (a perfectly acceptable lifestyle choice that we respect and even endorse), you’ve likely been following along with our coverage of LVMH Watch Week. This year, the group’s brands— Zenith, Hublot, TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton, Daniel Roth, Gérald Genta, and more — have kicked the year off with a multitude of releases. On today’s show, we run through them all and share our thoughts. We also share our favorites from the many new watches and discuss what this strong start might signal for this year in watches.
We’d also love to hear your thoughts on the releases. Do you have any favorites? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below, and join us next week for a new episode of Fratello Talks.
