Hi there! Welcome to the latest episode of your favorite watch podcast, Fratello Talks. This week, Nacho is joined by Daan and Lex to run through some of their favorite recently released watches. Having not done one of these recaps for a while, we thought we’d look back to some of the latest introductions post Watches and Wonders. As you might have come to expect, we’ve seen a ton of new watches released from the world’s biggest brands. However, there are also a handful of novelties from less popular brands that we also show some love to. Tune in to check out this summary of our favorites! But before we dive into the new watches, let’s see which ones are on the wrist today.

Wrist check

We jump into this week’s wrist check with Daan, who is wearing his Serica 5303 diver in the “crystal blue” colorway. Whether you want a watch that matches your favorite denim shirt or a cloudless summer sky, this is what you’re looking for. It’s a striking, distinct colorway for a dive watch, yet it works beautifully. Daan is wearing his on the OEM mesh bracelet, which has an interesting end link that integrates into the strap and adds articulation and comfort.

On Lex’s wrist this week is a borrowed Rado Anatom in the blue colorway. Inspired by the Anatom models released in the ’70s, this recently released watch combines Rado’s mastery of materials (in this case, ceramic) and modernist design to bring a whole new face to the lineup. He recently wrote an article reviewing the new watch and comparing it to its vintage predecessor. If you’re wondering if Lex likes the Anatom, as you can see, it’s still on his wrist!

Finally, Nacho is wearing his Tudor Pelagos FXD. This titanium diver has, more often than not, been the watch on his wrist recently. And as summer approaches, that’s not likely to change. If you’re wondering what strap he’s wearing it on, it’s the Glomar Explorer strap sold by our friends at Watches of Espionage. Similar to Tudor’s OEM strap for the FXD, it combines nylon and a hook-and-loop material for easy and secure fastening with unlimited adjustability. Unlike the original strap, this one has an additional (removable) keeper for extra safety.
