We also discuss just about every brand and novelty released at the fair. Honorable mentions go to some of the novelties released at the other events that took place in town last week. It’s not unfair to say that it was the biggest this ever-monumental week for the watch world has been in recent times. There’s a lot to take in. So whether you want to hear our take on a specific novelty or to find out what our favorites are, make sure to tune in to this long-form episode of Fratello Talks. But now, tradition dictates it’s time for a quick wrist check.

Wrist check

We jump into the action with RJ’s Rolex GMT-Master II 16713 “Root Beer” or “Clint Eastwood.” This two-tone Rolex is the latest watch to join RJ’s collection and his watch of choice for the week of Watches and Wonders 2025. Its faded bezel has been replaced by a new one, and it’s looking fresh and ready for action.

Cartier Santos Galbée XL on wrist

Daan is still going strong with his Cartier Santos Galbée XL. This was also his choice for the last few days in Geneva, but clearly, he can’t get enough of this chic yet sporty GADA watch.

Omega Seamaster 300M 2254.50.00 wrist shot

On the other hand, Nacho was missing his Omega Seamaster 2254 after a week spent away with the Pelagos FXD and his vintage Caravelle Sea Hunter diver. So it’s back on the wrist today and for the foreseeable future.

Omega × Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch "Mission on Earth" on wrist

Finally, Lex hops in for the second half of the show with his Watches and Wonders detox watch, the Omega × Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch “Mission on Earth.” Maybe he was influenced by seeing so many ceramic-cased watches and decided to go back to Bioceramic for a day or two, or perhaps it was the perfect lighthearted palate cleanser.

Fratello Talks: The Watches And Wonders 2025 Debrief

As you know, last week, the watch world collectively held its breath as some of the most anticipated novelties made their debut. Watches and Wonders 2025 was bigger than the fair has ever been, with 60 exhibiting brands and countless more making their way to Geneva to benefit from the draw of the main event. Whereas Baselworld or SIHH reigned before, Watches and Wonders quickly became the most significant fair on the watch world’s calendar. Folks from international media gather in the beige halls of the Palexpo to see and report on the thousands of new watches, with millions of eyes around the world watching on.

All that to say there was a hell of a lot going on last week. We were there and collectively saw just about everything there was to see. In today’s double-length episode, we distill this down into some personal highlights. We also get into our feelings about the show itself and the sense it gave us about the current state of the watch industry as a whole. Do you agree with our highlights? What was your favorite of the show’s releases? Make sure to tune in and leave your thoughts in the comments section below. And, of course, tune in next week for a new episode of Fratello Talks.
