Fratello Talks: Watches And Wonders 2025 Predictions And Wishes
Watches and Wonders 2025 is just a few days away, so today, on Fratello Talks, we’re making our predictions, voicing our wishes, and expressing our fears for the week ahead. Nacho, RJ, and Lex are feeling the pre-Watches and Wonders excitement. After all, it’s the biggest week of the year for the watch industry, with a record 60 brands showcasing their novelties at the fair. Though we have unique early access to some of the new watches, we do our best not to give anything away and look to fill the gaps where we can only make educated guesses. Though you’ll have to wait until next week to see what some of the world’s biggest watch brands have in store for us this year, we think this episode will whet your appetite for what’s to come. But now, let’s jump into a wrist check.
Wrist check
Lex is wearing the Papar Watch Co. Anillo GMT, a watch he spent some time with and wrote a hands-on review of here. It’s an eye-catching and unique take on the GMT complication with a case inspired by brutalist architecture.
It may not be a Tuesday, but that hasn’t stopped RJ from putting on his Speedmaster. But it’s not just any Speedy; this is the first #SpeedyTuesday model from 2017. He’s wearing it on one of the limited-edition Fratello × REM leather straps produced in March 2023.
Keeping things simple, Nacho is wearing his beloved Omega Seamaster Professional ref. 2254.50.00. He’s paired it with a Phoenix strap, which fans of NATO straps will appreciate.
