Hands-On Video With The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph
Thomas recently published his love story on the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph. I also made a quick video about it since it was in our Fratello office for a few days. Seeing beautiful images of a watch is one thing, but seeing the hands in motion and the wheels and gears turning is something else. In this video, I am looking at and talking about the white gold A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph ref. 414.028.
A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph
I love A. Lange & Söhne watches, and visiting the brand’s manufacture on several occasions only fueled my appreciation for these pieces. The 1815 Chronograph ref. 414.028 is made of 18K white gold and has a beautiful black dial. Additionally, as you can see, the dial shows quite a bit of depth due to the different layers. Inside, Lange uses its L951.0 movement to power the flyback chronograph. As always, the magic for me with Lange is mainly on the back side!
Specifications of the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph: 18K white gold case, 39.5mm (diameter) × 48mm (lug-to-lug) × 11mm (thickness), alligator leather strap with white gold buckle, manual-winding caliber L951.0, 18,000vph frequency, 60-hour power reserve. All specifications can be found here.
