Since 2021, Nomos has been steadily expanding its Club Sport Neomatik collection. The first reference was the 42mm Date, which came on a new three-row bracelet. Each year since then, a new size has joined the brand’s sportier collection. You can now choose between the Nomos Club Sport Neomatik in 34, 37, 39, and 42mm sizes. Each model comes with a distinctive sunburst dial in a size-specific color. However, apart from the date window on the 42mm version, there weren’t any additional complications available for the Club Sport. Until now, that is, because it’s time to unveil the new 40mm Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer in silver and blue.

Nomos already has a terrific world-time watch in its collection. The sophisticated Zürich World Time has been around since 2011. Since then, many different limited and regular versions have come out. We also presented two limited editions of our own — one in beige and black, the other in beige and blue, which sold out very quickly. Now, after 14 years, it was time to offer a sportier alternative to the slightly dressier Zürich World Time. Let’s take a look at its younger brother, the Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer.

The Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer

The new Nomos Club Sport Worldtimer has a stainless steel case measuring 40mm in diameter and just under 10mm thick, including the slightly domed sapphire crystal. The lugs span 48mm from tip to tip, which is relatively modest, especially for a Nomos watch. The case looks just as friendly and smooth as the other Club Sport models.

Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer case profile

The case has a polished finish, while its three-row bracelet features both polished center links and brushed outer links. Thanks to its quick-release spring bars, the bracelet is easy to swap out for something else. The folding clasp offers some micro-adjustment that you can set with yet another quick-release spring bar. That’s right; no tools are necessary here.

You can choose from two dial variants — well, actually, there are eight, but I’ll tell you more about those additional six later. There’s a silver-on-blue version and a blue-on-blue one. Both feature a galvanized sunburst center, but the silver version has a rhodium plating. Both are stepped dials, though, as the edge and the sunburst sub-dials are slightly recessed.

The edge contains the city ring with a red indicator to show which of the 24 time zones you are in. Next to that, on the minute track, you can quickly see the offset from UTC in that time zone. The sub-dial at 3 o’clock shows you your home time on a 24-hour scale with a day/night indication. On the silver-dial version, that sub-dial has a classic red and blue Pepsi look, while the blue-dial version uses two lighter shades of blue for the day and night. Also, at 6 o’clock sits a sub-dial for the running seconds.

Just like the big, signature Nomos Club numerals and stick markers, the large hour and minute hands contain a good amount of luminous material, making it easier to read the dial in darker conditions. Finally, at 12 o’clock, you’ll find the Nomos logo and the contrasting Neomatik branding.

Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer DUW 3202 movement

The new Nomos caliber DUW 3202

With the crown at 3 o’clock and the pusher at 2 o’clock, you can interact with Nomos’s new world-time caliber, the DUW 3202. This movement was designed, developed, manufactured, and assembled at the brand’s manufacturing plant in Glashütte, Germany. It’s 31mm in diameter and only 4.8mm thick, features 37 jewels, and holds a power reserve of 42 hours. The exhibition case back reveals the skeletonized rotor, which features a golden globe. From this angle, you’ll also see the movement’s blued screws, Glashütte stripes, and perlage finishing.

With the pusher at 2 o’clock, you can quickly click through the different time zones. The independently adjustable hour hand indicates the time in that region, and you can keep track of your home time on the 24-hour sub-dial.

Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimers galore!

To celebrate the introduction of the Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer, the brand introduces six additional references along with the two described above. Only 175 pieces of each of these six colorful, non-sunburst versions will be made. Each one comes with a distinctive name and colorway. It almost feels like 2024 again, when Nomos introduced 31 versions of its Tangente 38 Datum. Just like then, I think these limited editions of the new Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer look gorgeous and fit perfectly with Nomos’s specific way of doing things. The blue-gray Glacier iteration is my absolute favorite.

Quick thoughts

At the time of writing, we haven’t seen these new Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimers in person yet, so it’s a bit too early to judge them. However, based on the renders and pictures, I love them. The dials are playful — especially in the limited editions — yet very clean and easy to read. They fit seamlessly into the rest of the Nomos family. Everything is very well considered. For example, look at how the numerals at 2 and 4 o’clock aren’t cut off by the 24-hour sub-dial but dearly hold onto it.

I’m looking forward to seeing the new Nomos Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimers in person. Then, we can also see what they’re like to wear. However, the 48mm lug-to-lug span sounds promising. For €3,920, I think Nomos has a very strong horse in its stable with this new Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer. Based on all the press releases I’ve seen from various brands, this is already one of my favorite releases at Watches and Wonders 2025.
