New In Our Shop: Chronographs, Dress, And Dive Watches

As you probably know, we launched the Fratello Shop last December. Recently, we updated our stocklist with a few new watches for your pleasure. Let’s have a quick look.

Besides the pre-owned (NOS) Omega Speedmaster Professional watches and Frederique Constant Manufacture with Moonphase, we’ve now added two references each from Rado and Fortis.

Rado in Green and Red

We are very enthusiastic about the Rado Captain Cook, but the red-dialed Golden Horse on a beads-of-rice bracelet really struck a chord with our team. When it first came in for review (click here) it was the watch everyone rushed to strap on their wrist. A beautiful 36.5mm dress watch that originally came with a leather strap only, we’ve talked to RADO and we decided to add the beads-of-rice bracelet as well (for free). So comfortable!

And when it comes to life beneath the waves, we have the Rado Captain Cook divers’ watch for you. Happily, this one also comes on the beads-of-rice bracelet. This green version of the popular Captain Cook is just brilliant and in 42mm, it is friendly to a wide variety of wrists.

Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph

The other two watches are very similar to each other, yet very different in appeal. It’s the Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph we’re talking about. We offer it in our Fratello Shop in stainless steel and as the limited Amadee-18 edition in black. Our review on the Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph can be read here. It was having the opportunity to handle the watch in person, which encouraged us to establish this more official relationship with Fortis. The Grenchen-based brand has a long and interesting history and we’re proud to stock its watches in our store.

We also decided to add the steel version of the Fortis Official Cosmonauts Chronograph. To us, this is “the purist” version of the watch above. It comes with a very robust stainless steel bracelet. All other specifications of this watch are equal to the Amadee-18 edition.

Both watches come with an additional free-of-charge Fortis NATO strap (value €80). The steel version comes with a sand-colored version, which has been designed to come as close as possible to the style worn by cosmonauts. The Amadee-18 version comes with a beautiful grey NATO strap.

All of these watches are available in our shop. For peace of mind, Fratello will take care of insured shipping. All watches are well-described and each listing comes with close-up shots of the watch and a proper description. The watches we used for the reviews and the product shoots are not the actual watches that will be shipped to you.
