Introducing – Seamaster Diver 300M In Ceramic And Titanium

Last year Omega introduced their new Seamaster Diver 300M watch. A watch that has been in the collection since 1993 and was due for a big update. A new movement, new case size, and a new dial for example, while maintaining the look & feel of one of their best selling watches. 2019 just started, and Omega throws in another variation of this new Seamaster Diver 300M.

Seamaster Diver 300M In Ceramic and Titanium

We have been informing you about the steel, gold & steel and titanium/tantalum/Sedna gold versions of this new Seamaster Diver 300M, but today Omega surprised us with a model made of one black ceramic and titanium. With a size larger than the regular model (41mm), this 43.5mm is bigger and bolder! The case is made of black ceramic while the diving bezel is made of grade 5 titanium (with a black ceramic ring). The scale of the black ceramic bezel is made of white enamel. Besides the bezel, the caseback of this watch is also made of titanium.

Inside, we find the Omega caliber 8806 movement, which has a Master Chronometer certification. Also, it is visible through the sapphire crystal in the titanium caseback. The wave-edged caseback has a NAIAD lock system, meaning that it is always perfectly aligned.

The wave-pattern dial returned in 2018 and we’re happy it is also on this 2019 model in 43.5mm. The black ceramic dial has the laser-engraved waves, but are raised from the surface. These relief waves look amazing and similar to those on the limited edition in titanium/tantalum and Sedna gold.

This new Seamaster Diver 300M in black ceramic and titanium comes with a rubber strap and a buckle in black ceramic. Price will be CHF7500 (excl VAT). The reference for this new Seamaster Diver 300M is 210.92.44.20.01.001.

This is stunning. Best looking ceramic diver by a mile. Interesting that the case is 43.5? Perhaps a clue to the forthcoming chrono?

Love the materials, shame about the size for me. The new 42mm is my limit.

I skipped to ‘ next article ‘ when I got to 43.5 , shame , its a nice watch otherwise .

Am I the only person that thinks the Seamaster 300 is much better looking than the 300M, and wishes Omega would build out that line (different materials, a date version, a GMT version), instead of keeping the 300M from the 1990s alive?

Amazing watch. Seamaster 300m steel it’s a fantastic watch, but this is over the top. At 7500CHF it’s a best buy

Awesome watch, I’m hoping this is teaser for a line of black ceramic 300M models. I’d love to see a blue or even a green dialed version of this watch.
