Titoni Presents The Miss Lovely Model With Interchangeable Strap Options
The century-old Swiss watchmaker Titoni has made its name crafting handsome watches with unbeatable value. Little did we know that the fourth-generation family-run independent brand also has a strong lineup of ladies’ watches. Among them, the Miss Lovely collection undoubtedly takes the feminine curves up a notch. The latest 33.5mm time-only model in stainless steel also comes with its own unique quick-change strap system, so going between a bracelet and a leather strap is effortless. And no fabulously manicured nails will be harmed while having fun with different looks.
The lady of all ladies
Titoni’s offerings for women typically consist of timeless, elegant dress watches. Some of the collections, such as the Impetus, the Cosmo, or the Airmaster, have such clean and classic aesthetics that they come in matching his/hers versions. One of my favorites is the Impetus, which I have reviewed in the men’s sizing here. However, with the Miss Lovely, Titoni is presenting a style that stands on its own. I would go as far as calling it the most girlish model in the brand’s entire lineup.
The lovely details
The name says it all. Titoni’s Miss Lovely is pleasing to the eye with curvy lines and features. This three-hand model’s high-polished round case is voluptuous and features a domed bezel. Sitting atop the naturally gorgeous mother-of-pearl dial are rose-gold-colored circular indices set with sparkling stones. The symphony of colors and lights between these elements exudes absolute grace and elegance. Sharing the stage, the ovular skeleton hour hand with its triangular tip playfully contrasts the slender minute and seconds hands. Outside the case, the button crown and the bracelet are also polished with rounded edges. The crown’s pink inlay features Titoni’s trademark symbol, the five-petal plum flower.
Magic on the back
Both the front and back of the case are sealed with sapphire crystals with an anti-reflective coating. Visible through the case back is the Swiss engine inside. For the Miss Lovely, Titoni uses either the automatic ETA 2671 (shown below) or the Sellita SW100. The latter is a clone of the former and structurally identical. Both feature 25 jewels and an 18K-gold-plated rotor engraved with the “Titoni of Switzerland” branding in black. The time-only mechanism ticks away at 28,800vph (4Hz) and provides 40 hours of power reserve. Each movement also has its accuracy checked in four positions.
Interchangeable straps
Another unique feature of the Miss Lovely is the strap-changing system that Titoni has developed. The bracelet and all straps come equipped with two buttons and pins at each end. By pressing both buttons, the pins depress, unlocking the strap or bracelet from the case. A simple downward motion then releases each piece. Installing a different strap is then as simple as pressing the buttons and clicking the pins into place. It is a brilliant idea that adds value to the watch by dramatically changing its look and feel. The leather straps for the Titoni Miss Lovely are available in six vibrant colors, as shown below. For a 33.5mm case that is 9.75mm thick, the straps are suitably slender, measuring 17.15mm wide.
Versatile choices
As with all Titoni timepieces, the Miss Lovely is produced in the brand’s own facilities, ensuring Swiss watchmaking quality. Although this watch is not my vibe style-wise, the svelt model still looks great on my or any feminine wrist. More specifically, it was designed with charming young ladies in mind. The Miss Lovely will suit their delicate sense and endearing styles any day.
For those who want a touch more contrast on the case, there is also a version with a PVD rose-gold-tone bezel. The Miss Lovely in stainless steel that we have here is available for €945 with a leather strap and €1,010 with a bracelet, both inclusive of VAT and shipping costs.
