Watches & Wonders 2021: The 41mm Pasha de Cartier Chronograph And The 30mm Women’s Version

When, last year, Cartier announced the reintroduction of its Pasha collection, it was something of a special treat for the enthusiast. During the virtual Watches & Wonders 2021, the French brand has launched new variations: the 41 Pasha de Cartier Chronograph and the 30mm women’s version. For those who missed the sporty Chronograph, or wanted to get a smaller version, it’s a real treat! 

Well-known for its oval-shaped case, the 41mm Pasha de Cartier Chronograph is back. This time, however, Gerald Genta’s design gets a little update. Before we dig into that, let’s focus first on what remains unchanged. The two cabochon-topped pushers have the same size. Also, the dial features the same sporty-yet-elegant details: a single numeral at 12 o’clock and a date window placed between 4 and 5 o’clock.

Encircling the 41mm case is a rotating bezel engraved with fancy-looking Arabic numerals. I feel that the new dial is more readable and masculine than the previous iteration. As with any new model, Pasha de Cartier has a QuickSwitch system. This means that bracelet or strap can be either added or removed without using any special tools. 

The 1904-CH MC

Cartier’s signature chronograph comes in either a yellow gold case or stainless steel case. Although the yellow gold version, for now, comes only with straps, it does not lack presence on the wrist at all. Bejeweled cases and striking colorways ensure you will be noticed with this edgy classic reborn keeping you company. And should it happen to start a conversation (likely), you’ll have something more than looks to talk about: for this model, the French Maison has created the 1904-CH MC movement. The manual-winding movement can generate a power reserve of 47 hours and operates at 28,800vph. The prices are varied, ranging from €7,900 to €19,300.

Pasha de Cartier For Women

Last year, Cartier launched the Pasha with two case diameters: 35mm and 41mm. But now, all women who prefer smaller sizes can get this watch with a 30mm case. This extremely feminine design carries a quartz movement. There are three different models available.

You can choose between ah steel case, a pink gold case, or a pink gold case set with 42 diamonds. You can pair this elegant watch head with a selection of straps in different colors, or the hearty Pasha bracelet. The retail price depends on the model.
